For nearly 20 years I’ve been creatively experimenting with ideas of memory, nostalgia, and intimacy. The first photographs were mostly made with friends, models, and actors; all playing a role, but not wholly different from themselves. As the work progressed, it became a mode of seeing beyond just photographing.
Finding beauty and fascination in the ordinary details that embody a person: their gestures, their form, their character; I strive to endearingly portray moments often fleeting and overlooked.
The result: a unique collection of images, a visual essay, a bookmark for the future you; photographed artfully and intimately.
